1843: Agnes is born in Warbstow. In 1861 she is at Trengune where she is a general servant to Philip and Grace Ebbott who farm 150 acres. Philip is the brother of Mary Ebbott and Edward - we have a record of Philip marrying Grace Piper. This make it likely that Agnes is related to Edward and Mary - not a daughter since they emigrate in 1844 and it is more likely that Agnes is a niece? But who her parents were is still a mystery. source: Uglow Family History, Uglows in Warbstow accessed at http://www.kent.ac.uk/law/spu/Uglow/warbstow.htm on 21 July 2005
