The Lee family are in residence with children who are the same ages and have the same names as the Ellis children.

Martha "31born 1840
Alfred "5 born 1864
Edward "3 born 1868
Martha S " 3m born 1871
(These birth dates are consistence with Alfred & Martha Ellis family.)
Children Born at 257 St Georges Rd, Camberwell to Alfred & Marha Ellis the same address as noted in the 1871 Census for the Lee family
1870 Martha (see birth certificate)
1872 Kate Ellen Ellis
1875 Kate Ellen Ellis
1871 at that same in 1871
1877 Frederick Ellis
Based on these observations it has been assumed that the families are the same. It is interesting to note that the names were only changed on the Census on not on the birth certifcates.
Was the family trying to avoid being recognized by certain authories?
