Jesse W. Laughlin

Jesse W. Laughlin, 80, Stanley, died Monday at the Olathe Community Hospital after hospitalization for the past two years. He was a threshman, retiring in 1957. He had made his home in Stanley the past 60 years and was a member of the old Santa Fe Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Cora B. Laughlin of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Richardson, Gardner, and Mrs. Bonnie Worley, Lawrence; two sons, Herbert W. Laughlin, 8101 Shawnee Drive, Overland Park, and Marion J. Laughlin, 8311 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park; two brothers, Grover C. Laughlin, Kansas City, Mo., and John E. Laughlin, Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Murphy, Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Lula Thurston, 7812 W. 81st street, Overland Park; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Frye Chapel in Olathe with burial in the Pleasant Valley cemetery at Stanley.
