This family and their descendants are detailed in our Stephens story. They lived 1850? - 1860 in Jackson Co. Missouri, Blue Township. 1870 they were in Morgan Co. Mo. Richland Township. 1880 back in Jackson Co. Blue Township. There is no 1890 census and we do not find William & Major Stephens on the 1900 census. Most of their children lived in Johnson County Kansas after 1880.
