This indenture made this twenty first day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
six between John Moore Esq. and Mary his wife of the
Township of Providence in the count of Bedford and commonwealth of Pennsylvania of the one part and Michell Sadlar
yeoman of the township of Hempfeild in the county of Westmoreland and the Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part witnesseth
Whereaas the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by the patent under
the hand of his excellancy Thomas Mc Kean Esq. Governor and
seal of the said Commonwealth bearing date at Lancaster the seventh day of October in the year of Lord one thousand and eight
hundred and two, granted to Mosses Beeman private in the late army
of the United States and Pennsylvania Give[?] a certain tract of
land no 118 called "Freedom" situate in Donation district no |west
of Allegheny River in Beaver County, beginning at a post and black oak
thence by no 138[?] east two hundredsixty one perches to a post and Hickeroy, thence
by no 136 north one hundred thirty perches to a post and white oak these by no
119 west two hundred sixty one perches to white oak and thence by no 113[?] south
one hundred thirty perches to the beginning. containing two hundred acres
and allowance of six per cent for roads [?] (Which said trace was surveyed in
pursuance of an act by general assembly passed the 24 day of February 1785
to the said Mosses Beeman) And the said Mosses Beeman who by his deed dated the 16th day of October A. D. 1802 for the consideration therein mentioned
conveyed the said tract of land unto the said John Moore Esq. in fee
(reference to the said patent and conveyance will at large appear) Now
this indenture. withnesseth that the said John Moore and Mary
his wife for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred
dollars lawful money of Pennsylvania, to them in hand paid by the
said Michel Sadlar before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt
whereof is here by acknowledged and themselves fully satisfied and
content, Hath granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant
bargain sell alien unfeoff release and confirm unto the said Michel Sadlar his
heirs and assigns all the above bounded and described tract of land with the
appurtanances. To have and to hold the said tract of land and promise with
the appurtenances thereunto belonging. Togeather with all and singular
the buildings improvements ways woods waters watercourses advantages
rights liberties priviledges herditaments and appurtenances
whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and
the sections[?] and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and also
all the estate right to the interest property claims and demand whatsoever
of them the said John Moore and Mary his wife in law or equity or otherwise
howsoever of in to or out of the said tract of land and premises unto him the
said Michell Sadlar his heirs and assigns. to the only proper use benefit
and behoof of him, the said Michel Sadlar his heirs and assigns forever
against him the said John Moor and Mary his wife and their heirs
respectively and against all other person or persons whatsoever lawfully
claiming or to claim the same or any part or parcel thereof by [????????]
these or any of them unto the said Michal Sadlar his heirs and assigns
shall and will warrent and forever defend by these presents in witness
whereof the said John Moore and Mary his wife have hereunto interchangbly set their hands and seals the day and year first above written - John Moore

James Taylor - Jno Scott - Bedford County ss on the twenty first day
of March A. D. 1806 then received of Michel Sadlar the sum of four hundred dollars
lawful money of Pennsylvania being the full consideration money in the above deed offered received by me John Moore - Witness Jno Scott Bedford County ss - before me the subscriber
one of the associate judges of Bedford, personally appeared the [???????????] John Moore Esq
and Mary his wife and acknowledge the above written indenture to be their act and deed and
desired the same as might be recorded the said Mary being of full age and separate and a part
from her husband by me examined the contracts of the above writing being made [?????????] to
here she did acknowledge the same to be here act and deed free from caution coercion or
compulsion of the husband - In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this
