Below is a reproduction of a copy of a transcript of the Bible of Edwin Parsons Clark. See MySource:Jrich/Clark Notes for further information. I have not seen the original Bible. From my copy, it is impossible to distinguish what is original, and what are added notes. But clearly, some of the remarks appear to have been added later, possibly by Fannie Walker Clark (F.W.C.). Being possibly a photocopy of a photocopy, the handwriting is difficult to make out in places (indicated by "[?]")

Source:Austin, Jeannette H. Georgia Bible Records (299509) (I am looking at a reprint printed in 2002), has a Bible record of Montilla Clark on p. 210-11 which overlaps on the children of William D. Clark and Jane Mary Eliason. Discrepancies are noted next to the entry with the tag "MC:". By analysis of the differences, this transcript seems more thorough and reliable than the article. The Bible of Montilla Clark, b. 1826, also gives the children he had with wife Bettie Miller Perkins, and those interested in this family should consult this source for this additional information.

Joseph Clark was married to Ann Haynes the 24th of January 1774.

Ruben Clark the son of William Clark was married to Martha E. Clark the daughter of Joseph and Ann Clark in [sic] the 17th of December 1801.

Joseph Clark, son of William Clark and Martha his wife was born on the 12th day of April 1752.

Ann Harris the daughter of Jasper Haynes and Elizabeth his wife, the wife of Joseph Clark, was born on the 21st of February 1758.

Fanny Clark, the daughter of Joseph Clark and Ann his wife, was born on the 13th of February 1775

Martha E. Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy Clark born the 17th of May, 1777. [Nancy commonly used interchangeably for Ann in colonial times.]

Larkin Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy Clark born the 24th of October, 1778.

James Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy his wife was born the 16th of September, 1780.

Mary Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy was born 21st of November, 1782

Ann Powell Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy born the 2'd of November, 1784.

Elizabeth H. Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy was born Oct. the 7th 1786.

Sally Taylor Clark of the said Nancy and Joseph Clark was born the 3'd of November 1788.

Bathsheba Sampson Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy Clark was born the 10th of September 1791.

William David Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy born October the 13th 1793.

Tabitha Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy, born February 5th 1796.

Eunice Henrietta Clark of the said Joseph and Nancy, born the 9th of January, 1798.

William David Clark son of Joseph David Clark & Ann Haynes his wife, was married to Jane Mary Eliason, daughter of Ebenezer & Ann Hersey, on 16th March 1825.

William David Clark son of Jos. D. Clark & Ann, his wife, was born Oct. 13th, 1793. Departed this life 9th Apr., 1865. [MC: born 13 Oct 1792]

Jane Mary Eliason, daughter of Ebenezer Eliason and Ann his wife, was born 7th March 1804. Departed this life the 17th day of Oct. 1846.

Montilla [?] Clark son of Wm. D. & Jane Mary Clark was born 1st May 1826. [MC: birth 1 May 1836, a clear typo/mis-interpretation based on order of listing of the births in MC and marriage given as 1846 in MC]

Ann Hersey, daughter of Wm. D. & Jane Mary Clark was born Sept. 6th, 1828. Departed this life the 24th day of Nov. 1912.

Mary Jane Clark daughter of Wm. D. & Jane Mary Clark, was born March 2nd 1830. Departed this life the 21st day of December 1867.

James William Clark son of Wm. D. & Jane Mary Clark was born June 1st, 1831. Departed this life April 16th, 1918, in his 95th year ["?" added in margin, presumably because the math doesn't work.]

Edwin Parsons Clark, son of Wm. D. & Jane Mary Clark was born Feb. 22, 1833. Died at The Plains, Va., April 14, 1918. [MC: born 3/33/1833-sic]

India Haynes Clark daughter of Wm. D. & Jane Mary Clark was born 15th Nov. 1834. Wife of Major Tom Edwards of Lebanon, Tenn. died Feb. 1910 (I think F.W.C.) no children. [MC: born 13 Nov 1834]

Novella Virginia Clark daughter of Wm. D. & Jane Mary Clark was born 26th Oct. 1842. Departed this life the 12th day Sept. 1900. Wife of Major Richard Hunter of Lebanon[?], Tenn. [MC: born 28 Oct 1842]

Fanny Clark the daughter of Joseph and Ann Clark departed this life on the 22'd of February, 1779.

Ann Clark the wife of Joseph Clark, departed this life the 4th of December 1807.

Joseph, the husband of Ann Clark, departed this life on the 5th of February, 1839 - 48 minutes after 11 o'clock in the morning in the 87th year of his age.

Died at Willow Grove, Orange County, Va., on April the 7th 1865 at 1/4 past 5 o'clock in the morning, William D. Clark, aged 71 years 6 months and 25 days.

Died at The Plains, Fauquier Co., Va., Judith Ann Taliaferro Clark, wife of Dr. E. P. Clark, Nov. 26, 1895, in the 67th year of her age.

Died at The Plains, Va., April 14, 1918, Dr. Edwin Parsons Clark, husband of Judith Ann Taliaferro, 5:55 P.M. - 85 years 1 mo. & 23 days.

Edwin Spotswood Clark 1st son of Dr. E. P. Clark and Judith A. Clark was born Nov. 2, 1859.

Fanny Walker Clark daughter of Dr. E. P. Clark and Judith A. Clark was born Sept. 2nd., 1861.

Montilla Clark 2nd son of Dr. E. P. Clark and Judith Ann his wife was born May 13th, 1863.

Montilla Clark was married to Ella Crawley Oct -- 1891, Danville [?], Va.

Dr. Taliaferro Clark was married to Margaret Wolfuth [?] Oct. 1897, Columbus, Ohio.

Amanda Clark was married to J. Brad Beverley [?] Nov. 9, 1898, The Plains, Va.

Fannie Walker Clark was married to Dr. Wm. R. Tullers Jan. 29th 1907, of Haymarket, Va.
