State of Kentucky Nicholas County

Any Legally Authorized Mnister of the Gospel in regular Communion with the Church of which he is a member is hereby permitted to Celebrate the rites of Marriage agreeably to the forms and Customs of Said Church Between Mr. Greenup Quiett and Miss Fidlela Eward, Daughter of Mr. John Eward and resident of this County and this shall be his authority for so doing. He being of lawful age, personal consent given by her father and bond entered into according to law. Given under my hand this 20th day of March 1837.
