John HENSHAW, of Boston, Massachusetts, obtaind the following information from the Herald's College, London, England, in 1844:
Begins with Henry III of England, then Edward I, Edward II, Edward III, and John of Gaunt (See Note: #1) whose daughter (See Note: #2) married Robert Neville, Earl of Westmoreland. Their son, Richard Neville, married the Countess of Salisbury. Their daughter, Eleanor Neville, married Thomas Stanley, Earl of Derby. His second wife was Margaret of Lancaster, mother of Henry VII.
(Note #1: the third sond of Edward III)
(Note #2: Joan Beaufort, daughter by his mistress and third wife, Lady katharine de Roelt Swynford, whose sister Phillipa married the poet, Geoffrey Chaucer. Both Joan and Katharine are buried in the quire at Lincoln Cathedral.)
