Mary Elizabeth Robertson Henry Obituary. (1937 Obituary).

Mary Elizabeth Robertson daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Robertson, was born in Ohio, April 8, 1846, and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. U. S. Pepple who lives in the Union Grove Community, Feb. 2, 1937, at the age of 90 yrs., 10 Mo., and 24 days.

  She was married to John W. Henry, Jan. 7, 1868.  To this happy union eight children 5 boys and 3 girls, were born.  3 sons preceded her in death, namely, Edward, Edwin and Oliver, and her husband.
  She was converted at the age of 20 and lived a christian life for 60 years.
  About eight years ago she suffered a paralytic stroke, over which she has been an invalid in a wheel chair since that time.
  She leaves to mourn her departure five children, three daughters, Mrs. Dora (should be Dona) Pepple, of Belle Rive, Ill., Mrs. Cora Grider of Argenta, Ill., Mrs. Anna Jones of Allenton, Ill., two sons A. C. Henry of Little Rock, Ark., and Frank Henry of Danville, Illinois.  Besides a large number of nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and her many friends.
  Aunt Moll as she was called by her many friends' had a very pleasant disposition.  She was a kind and loving mother, an esteemed friend, and a consistant (sic) Christian.
  Funeral services were conducted at the Salem Church, Feb. fourth by the Rev. ? Edwards after which she was laid beside her life long companion in the nearby cemetery.
