Donna Pepple, life long resident of Bluford, 81, now of 1307 S. 16th St. died at 9:25 p.m. Monday in Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Evangelical United Brethren Church of which she was a member. The Rev. Vivian Threlkeld will officiate. Burial will be in East Hickory Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Bluford Funeral Home where friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Pepple was born June 17, 1882 in Jefferson County, the daughter of John and Mollie (Robertson) Henry. On March 5, 1902, in Hamilton County, she was married to U. S. Pepple who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a step-son, Lloyd Pepple, three brothers and a sister. Survivors include a step-daughter-in-law, Mrs. Anna Pepple of this city; a sister Mrs. Cora Grider of Decatur; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
