From Rich Stayer July 2005: "Attached you will find the brief as it may be obituary for John N. Gillam, youngest brother of Solomon. I have been searching for this elusive dead
man for at least 10 years. He died in Columbus Franklin Co Oh on February 22, 1950 at the age of 85!! I have also found a gravesite for him in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus Oh. He is buried alone and his stone reads: John N. Gillam 11/2/1863-2/22/1950. I couldn't figure why he was buried alone until I found his wife's death record n California. Laura Permela (how ironic!) died in San Diego, CA on June 22, 1959. She had gone there with their daughter."
