From Ontario County Journal 17 April 1914

The death of Patrick Dawson occurred at his home, West Gibson street, on Monday morning. Deceased was born in County Limerick, Ireland, 92 years ago and for 40 years resided in Gorham. He resided in Canandaigua three years. Besides his wife, he leaves four sons and four daughters, Mrs. Hugh McGory, of Phelps; Mrs. William Nutt and Frank Dawson, of Coldwater; Daniel Dawson, of Shortsville; James, Thomas, Ella and Johanna L. Dawson, of Canandaigua. The funeral was held from St. Mary Church on Wednesday. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery.
