Obituaries [paper unknown] Jane Allen January 19, 1999 Jane M. Allen, 89, of Eagle Street, Amsterdam, died Tuesday at Montgomery Meadows. Born June 16, 1909, in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Carr Allen. She was a lifelong area resident, a 1927 graduate of St. Mary's Institute, and also graduated from Reynolds Business School. She was employed by the Bigelow Sanford Carpet Co. as a cost accountant, lalter working for Mohasco Industries in the data processing department, retireing in 1974. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and its Rosary Society. Survivors include two brothers, Alexander Allen of Cobleskill and Richard Allen of Port Richey, Fla.; four sisters, Catherine Lawrence, Florence Insogna, and Rita Allen, all of Amsterdam, and Patricia Patrimicola of Scotia; nieces and nephew. Funeral services will be private. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Johnson. Memorial contributions my be made to St. Mary's Church. Arrangements are by the Riley Mortuary Inc., 110 Division St., Amsterdam
