Paul Taug : Paul Taug arrived in Seattle as that city was still smoking after the fire in June 1889. His wife, Ida Grondahl Taug, arrived in 1891. They bought twenty acres from Paul's brother, Frank Fredericksen, near Keyport, which is now known as the Lang Place. Mr. Taug hauled lumber for their first home up the hill from Keyport Bay. They sold this place in 1903 and moved to Central Valley, buying from Ivan Thorsen. Mr. Taug farmed (?) walked or took a horse-drawn wagon to Brownsville with his produce, then went to Seattle's Farmers' Market, selling the produce. He was a hard worker for the local church and school and helped build roads in the area. Paul Taug (born Norway 1861; died 1925) and Ida Grondahl (born Norway 1866; died 1951) had three children; Frieda (born Keyport 1896 died 1912), Ingval (born Keyport 1898) and Anna Taug Olson (born Keyport 1893)
