Following a source inquiry, she kindly responded (30 Sep 2011) that she thought all three were from Robert Rankin (pos of McAllister, TX) and that she had received them sometime in the 1990s.

If anyone has access to original images of these documents, please let us know, so that we can add them to the pages. I have annotated the transcripts slightly by providing breaks in text between the information of various families and added wiki links to individual WR pages.

Pg. 677 Family Record - Genealogy

William Rankin came from Scotland to Ireland 1689 and had three sons, Adam, John and Hugh and one daughter named Jane. Adam born 1688, July 16, and Hugh came to America 1720. Adam was married to Elizabeth May in Ireland, his wife departed this life on his arrival to America. He married a Mrs. Steel, had by her three sons, James, William and Jeremiah, the youngest was born 1733 was married to Rhoda Craig, 1754, by whom he had 4 sons, Adam, William, Thomas and Jeremiah and was killed in his mill 1760.

Adam was born in the year 1755, March 24 was licensed to preach Oct. 24 th, 1782 was married to Martha McPheeters Oct. 18 1782 of whom he had seven sons and 2 daughters. Moved to Lexington, Ky. Oct. 1784. Had the care of Mt. Zion Church in Lexington and Neighboring churches for 42 [?] years until 1827 Oct. when he went to Philadelphia and there departed this life Nov. 25, 1827 and was buried in Spruce Street Church burial ground.

His eldest son, Samuel was born Feby. 17th 1784.
2d son, Alexander was born Feby. 16, 1786 and departed this life May 16, 1787.
Jane their 1st daughter was born May 16th 1788 was married in her 17th year to Rev. William Wallace, had 3 daughters Martha, Ellen & Alethia and departed this life aged 27 years.
Adam, 3d son, was born Jan 3d 1791
Robert Annan 4th son was born Sep. 3d, 1793.
William, 5th son, was born May 8th, 1796 & departed this life July 2d 1801.
Rhoda Craig, 2d daughter was born Jany 17 1799 and departed this life Sept. 8th, 1799.
Jeremiah, 6th son was born Sept 17th, 1800.
John Mason, 7th son was born May 16th, 1805.

Martha McPheeters, the wife of Rev. A. Rankin was born Dec. 16, 1763.

J. M. Rankin and Sarah L. Slaughter were married June 20th, 1833

H. Hollis Rankin and Iva Adams Married March 7, 1909 in Center, Texas at her parents home (Callie Adams and Jennie Pugh Adams) Married by Rev. Joe Smith (Baptist)

Robert Carlton Rankin married Susan Adele Dean on August 24, 1968 in McAllen, Tx. 1st Methodist Church

Henry Hollis Rankin III married Rebecca Hill Nall in Tyler, Texas, June 28th, by Rev. Hartley Hall (Presby.)

Mary Louisa, 3d daughter, was born in San Augustine, Texas March 9th, 1844

Henry ____________ 2d son was born August 31st, 1848 in San Augustine, Texas

Deborah Ann Rankin: daughter of H. Hollis Rankin, Jr. and Lucille Chesnutt Rankin was born March 18, 1949

Sarah L. Rankin wife of Jno. M. Rankin died in San Augustine Co., Texas, Feb. 12th, 1886

John W. Rankin, son of Jno M. Rankin & Sarah L. Rankin died in Dallas, Tex., march 29th, 1907.

I. H. Hollis, husband of E. G. Hollis died August 30th, 1910. Ellen G. Hollis, wife of I. H. Hollis died May 4th, 1912.
