DEATH OF STEPHEN McNEIL
Aged Father of Mrs. A. P. Camp Passes Away
At his home on the Boulevard, with his wife and daughter at his bedside, surrounded with every care and attention, Stephen McNeil died last evening with the closing of the day.
Mr. McNeil was born in Middleburg, Schoharie County, N. Y. and he was also in business for a number of years in Waterbury, Conn. He left there ten years ago and came to Durango, where he has resided since.
Mr McNeil did not make a great many acquaintances, but those who knew him best will miss most the genial kind-hearted old man who has been called away.
Besides his wife, he leaves two children, Mrs. A. P. Camp, who resides in Durango, and Mr. John L. McNeil of Denver. Mr. McNeil is now in Washington, D.C., so it will be impossible for him to be present at the funeral.
The funeral will take place from his residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. All friends of the family are invited.
