SIN 483. "Brown Cemetery", a list of grave markers in the Brown Cemetery, on the Carson Brown Estate, 2-1/2 miles south of New Canton, in Section 26 of Pleasant Vale Township, Pike County, Illinois. The list was compiled by Mrs. Frank Madarasz and June Dolbear; it was updated by the Lewises 28 March 1978. The list consists of 3 typed pages numbered 119-121, which suggests it is part of a book of Pike County cemeteries. The list was sent to this writer by Lorain Wallace of Quincy, Illinois, 16 November 2006. The list contains 71 names, including Brown, Davis, Duckworth, Hancock, Jackson, Lewis, Shewe, Sifers, Wallace, Uppinghouse, Emerson.
