Description
This is are the personal notes on the genealogy of the Kirkpatrick family taken and compiled by Helen Mae Alexander between the years of 1926 and 1928. This is described in the text (see Kirkpatrick Family History pg. 15) in her own words in this way:
"1. Helen Mae (6) Alexander, born Aug. 22, 1906 at Elvaston, Ill.,
is employed in a fire insurance agency at Morrilton,
Ark.; she married March 1, 1932 to Melbourne Moose of
Morrilton, he born Jan. 28, 1901. Helen A. Moose compiled
most of this Kirkpatrick record from 1926 to 1928."

James Irwin Alexander was born at Mercer, Pa., Oct. 29,
1802. Married first on Sept. 25, 1828 at Buffalo, N. Y., Matilda
Lucean Allen, she born at Cazenovia, Davidson County, N. Y.
She is said to be a descendant of General Ethan Allen, of Vermont.
Issue:
1. Mary Allen Alexander, b. Aug. 26, 1829, in N. Y. State
2. Job Halsey Alexander, b. Nov. 9, 1832, in Mich.
3. Martin B. Alexander, b. April 11, 1835
4. Emily A. Alexander, b. Nov. 16, 1837
5. James Irwin Alexander, b. Feb. 21, 1839
6. Rufus Allen Alexander, b. Oct. 6, 1842
7. Charles Allen Alexander, b. May 21, 1845
Matilda L. Alexander died about 1848, and J. I.
Alexander married second at Niles, Mich., Aug. 12, 1852, to Sally
Beard. No issue. J. I. Alexander was a carpenter and farmer.
Lived in Western New York, till about 1833, when he moved to
Berrien County, Michigan.

George W. Miles, he born _______________, lived at Michigan City, Ind.,
Issue:
1. Mary Martha Miles, b. Oct. 9, 1852, d. May 1, 1855

4. Harry ___________ Miles, b. March 25, 1862, died May 26,
1925, married to Florence

Iowa. Unmarried.
2. George Irwin Alexander, b. at Quincy, Ill. , Oct. 24, 1864,
married Eva Catwaller. No children. Died at Ft.
Madison, Ia. Nov. 8, 1897.
3. Sarah Hattie Alexander, b. July 12, 1867 at Quincy, Ill.
Unmarried. Lives at Ft. Madison, Ia.
4. William Perry Alexander, born Feb. 6, 1870, at Quincy, Ill.
Married Carrie Eddy. One son.
