William Gibbs Landick, Jr.1869 - 1944

Wm Gibbs Landick, 68 Washington st, aged 74, died suddenly during his sleep. from a heart attack yesterday. He was a native of Pembroke, Me., and was the son of Wm G and Milvina Varney Landick. His father was for many years a well known resident of Belmont Hill, the family home being on Pratt st. he was educatted in the Malden schools and was a traveling salesman all of his life, his last connections being with a chain food concert.

He was a member of Malden lodge of Odd Fellows and attended the First Universalist church. Surviving are his wife, who was Miss lydi Trask Lindsay, a daughter, Mrs F Earle Conn , Newton Centre, and a son Phillip Gibbs Landick, Melrose Highlands; also six grandchildren, a sister, Mrs Mabel E Rennison and two brothers, Arthur and Walter, all of the city. The funeral will be held tomorrow at two pm at the Sprague funeral home with burial at Woodlawn.
