In het jaar Een duizend acht honderd vijf en zeventig, den tweeëntwintigsten dag der maand Mei, zijn voor ons ondergeteekende AMBTENAAR van den Burgerlijken Stand der Gemeente Ferwerderadeel, Provincie Friesland, gecompareerd: Gerrit Zwart, oud vijfentwintig jaren, geboren te Ferwerd, van beroep boerenknecht , wonende te Ferwerd, meerderjarige zoon van Sijtse Piebes Zwart, gardenier, en van Fetje Gerrits van der Meulen, echtelieden, wonende te Ferwerd ter eene zijde; en Dirkje Johannes de Vries, oud vierentwintig jaren, geboren te Hallum, van beroep dienstmeid , wonende te Ferwerd, meerderjarige dochter van Johannes Jaspers de Vries en Wijtske Sijes Wiersma, in der tijd echtelieden, de vader overleden , de moeder arbeidster, wonende te Marrum, ter andere zijde,

Welke ons verzocht hebben het door hen voorgenomen huwelijk te voltrekken, waarvan de afkondigingen op Zondagen den negenden en zestienden Mei dezes jaars alhier zonder stuiting hebben plaats gehad.

En hebben de comparanten tot dat einde aan ons overgelegd:

Ten eerste: hunne geboorte-acten,

Ten tweede: de overlijdens-acte van den vader der bruid. De ouders van den bruidegom en de moeder der bruid, hierbij tegenwoordig, hebben ons verklaard in dit huwelijk toe te stemmen.

In the year 1875, 22 May, have appeared before us, undersigned, Official of the Burgerlijke Stand of the Gemeente Ferwerderadeel, Province Friesland, Gerrit Zwart, 25 years old, born in Ferwerd, farmhand, living in Ferwerd, adult son of Sijtse Piebes Zwart, gardener, and Fetje Gerrits van der Meulen, spouses, living in Ferwerd, on the one side and Dirkje Johannes de Vries, 24 years old, born in Hallum, maid, living in Ferwerd, adult daughter of Johannes Jaspers de Vries and Wijtske Sijes Wiersma, then spouses, the father deceased, the mother laborer, living in Marrum, on the other side.

We have asked them for the intended marriage to take place, including the marriage banns on Sundays the 9th and 16th of May of this year, haven taken place without interruption.

And they have provided:

First: their certificates of birth,

Second: the certificate of death for the father of the bride. The parents of the groom and the mother of the bride, hereby present, have stated consent to this marriage. After which (continued on page 2)
