To Pay Money Into Court
On motion of Dunn & Schaeffer, the Court directed that Benneville Krick, the present owner of a tract of land in Cumru, containing 10 acres and 68 perches, pay into Court the sum of $351.59 being a dower charged upon the premises in favor of Eva Schannauer, the widow of Joseph Schannauer, Cumru, deceased. The widow died May 6, 1909, when the principal of the dower became due and payable and a dispute having arisen as to who is entitled to the fund, the owner, Benneville Krick, paid the amount into Court, whereby his property was discharged from the lien thereof.
Released From the Lien
On motion of Dunn & Schaeffer, the Court directed that John Matz, the present owner of a tract of land in Cumru, containing 21 acres and 42 perches, pay into Court the sum of $1,224,82, the amount of a dower charged upon the premises in favor of Eva Schannauer, the widow of Joseph Schannauer, Cumru, deceased. At the death of the widow, May 6, 1909, the principal of said dower became due, but a dispute having arisen as to who are entitled to the fund, the owner, John Matz, paid the amount into Court and his property was thereby released from the lien thereof.
The widow's appraisement in the estate of Adam K. Harbach, Bern, deceased, is filed and confirmed nisi.
