Fires Into Mirror At Woman; Shoots Husband and Self

Believed by officers to have been crazed with liquor, Joe Holson, 41, Palo Alto carpenter, shot and killed Oscar Schoennauer, 31, a rancher, and then turned his weapon on himself, inflicting a fatal wound following a heated quarrel between the two men at the Schoennauer home, Cowper and Stanford Avenues, Palo Alto, about 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Holson, taken to the Palo Alto Hospital, died several hours later. (Continued)
