OCTAVIO MARQUEZ Octavio Marquez, 75, died Friday at Harlingen State Chest Hospital. He was a Brownsville native and lifetime resident. He was a former inspector for the city of Brownsville. Survivors include his wife, Eudelia Villarreal; three sons, Octavio Marquez Jr. and Antnio Villarreal of Brownsville and Oscar Marquez of Houston; two daughters, Guadalupe Marquez of Brownsville and Margarita M. Jimenez of Indiana; three sisters, Herlinda M. Leal, Elvira Marquez and Ester Marquez, all of Brownsville; a brother, Epidio Marquez of Chicago; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Cathedral with Father Armand Matthew officiating with burial at City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rogelio Garza, Cesario Maldanado, Alejandro Cadengo and Joe Tapia.
