Dear Pat,
Grandpa Williams had Choctaw Indian blood. Dad doesn’t remember a lot of things now, but he remembers Grandpa Williams living in Jal, New Mexico; Cortez, Colorado; Mesa, Arizona and a short time in Medford & Klamath Falls, Oregon. He was living in Oklahoma when it was noted into statehood. He worked on the Mississippi on a steamboat. He also worked a shays making wagon wheels. Hope this helps.
