Photo was found April 2018 in the Atwood Lake home of Joseph R. Carlisle, Sr. and his wife, Helen. This is Joe's childhood home and is located at 2696 State Route 416 SE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 (Goshen Township, Tuscarawas County); also known as 2969 Goshen Valley Road. Per Tuscarawas County Auditor records, the house was built in 1890. Joe told RC that a doctor built the house and his father purchased the house from the doctor before Joe was born. Joe's sister, Margie, later purchased the home and lived there before selling it.
