Adriaan's mother, my Great Great Grandmother, Maria Martha Metz (m1 ROTMAN) (m2 Dijkstra) 1838 - 1908 borne Oosterhout, Noord-Brabant. Her first husband died when the children were young. She left them with her family while she went away to train as a midwife.
