The epithet on her tombstone reads, "Our mother's departed before us, Afflictions no more she shall know, Her spirit has landed in glory, Her labors are finished below." The age carved into her gravestone (105 years and 5 days) is now a known exaggeration since her baptismal data has been discovered. In that era, people were proud to be old and often inflated their age. This cemetery is also called Cobblestone Cemetery. It is behind the Second Reformed Church in Rotterdam.

Local records state her death date as June 7, 1852.
