In Hebrew: "Here lies Leib Yitzchak son of reb David HaLevi, died 7 Tishri 5695. May his soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life." (Death date was during the days of awe, a few days before Yom Kippur.)

In English: "Louis Brautman / died Sept. 16, 1934 / age 70 yrs / FATHER"

The symbol of a water pitcher and bowl signifies that he was a Levite.
