ANDREW EDMONDSON BUCHANAN 1821-1901

Andrew was a Confederate Soldier. He enlisted in the same month and same company as Robert Edmondson a first cousin, they both were members of the Co. F, 37th Virginia Infantry, the Glade Spring Rifles, Andrew was wounded at the battle in which General Stonewall Jackson was mortally wounded the previous evening, when accidentally shot by one of his own men. Andrew is buried in Old Moore Cemetery, Glade Springs,VA.
