Description

"He had us all convinced he was invincible," said Laura Butler, Thursday, May 10, 2018 of her son Staff Sgt. Aaron Butler who earned two Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars for his ultimate sacrifice in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, searching for Islamic State loyalists. Butler and his teammates in Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group of the Utah National Guard were clearing a building when the booby-trapped structure exploded, killing Butler and injuring his 11 teammates.
