Photo was in collection of Violet Reynolds Ashton. It was taken in her living room in the "Big House" in Venedocia. Violet's youngest sister, Lela Barnes, is on the far right, with Violet next to her. The young girl is Violet's and Lela's great-niece, Amy Reynolds, granddaughter of their brother, Gail (Betty) Reynolds. Janice Jones, youngest daughter of Violet and Lela's eldest sister, Ruby Jones, is on the left (Janice grew up next door to Violet).

Amy's mother, Lila, has stated many times that Violet was like a grandmother to Amy. This photo captures their special connection. rc
