To export a GEDCOM from Ancestry Trees:
- Select "Tree Settings" from the "Tree pages" menu
- Left-click on "Export your tree" and wait for the button to become "Download your GEDCOM file"
- Here's where it can get tricky: on some browsers, if you left-click on "Download your GEDCOM file", the file is saved as a .mht (html) file. This isn't what you want. If this happens to you, try right-clicking on the "Download your GEDCOM file" button and selecting "Save link as.." The file should then be saved as a .ged (GEDCOM) file, which is what you want.
