Search Family [23 October 2011]

I am a descendant of the Search family.  My great grandmother's name was Margaret Search. She was born in Illinois.  She married Lee A Johnson.  They lived in Sunnyside, Washington, and Portland, Oregon.  Her brother came West also and was in business with Mr. Johnson. 

At one time in the past, I conversed with several Search cousins. They had a bulletin board on a website and were quite a lively group. I remember Carol and Suzy, in particular.

I would like to re-look at the Search family. It seems that my great grandmother was named after an aunt who passed away the year before she was born---at least that is what the evidence pointed to years ago. Great! Where shall we start? I am afraid the bulletin board was at least 5 years ago and I do not know where it is now on the web. The members were very active and made real progress. Suzy was in Arizona, Carol was around Palo Alto. The lady who ran the board, well, she was great, but I cannot recall her name.

We have given one of our sons the middle name of Search, in order to carry on the name.
