- Determine if the ancestral file info on a William Poling might correspond to our William Poling.
- Find a marriage record. Check FHL Film #1030773 (Darke County probate court, Marriage records v. E-F 1878-1886)
- Fix the file name of the William Poling death certificate
- Because son William M's death certificate lists Hocking county as William T and Sarah C's place of birth, try FHL Film #912321 to look for a marriage record there.
