Other trees include more children in this family, but these appear to be the result of misreading of records and/or speculation. For example:

  • The 1827 marriage bond between William Ice and John Ingraham for John to marry William's daughter Susanna, is actually a marriage bond between William Jaco and John Ingraham for John to marry William's daughter Luranah Jaco.
  • The 1826 marriage of Samuel Paden and Eve Ice matches the 1850 census record in which Eve is shown to be born about 1789 in New Jersey, and therefore not a daughter of this family (and possibly the widow of George Ice, as has been found in some trees and WeRelate updated accordingly).
