Family talk:Thomas Bull and Martha Smith (1)

incorrect marriage [2 December 2021]

I removed the marriage dated 9 Dec 1761 in "CT". There is a marriage in Harwinton, CT, on this date between Thomas Bull and Mary Smith. Lucius Barbour's Families of Early Hartford, p. 99 (and again on 101) shows this as the third marriage for a Thomas Bull b. 1609. So clearly this is a different man than the one who was the father of the family on this page.

The Thomas of this page had a wife Martha as clearly indicated by her gravestone. One item found online suggests they may have come from New York but no information is given. --Jrich 05:41, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
