From Stephen Waite and Jemima Babcock (2): Married on the day of their birth? [25 April 2009]

Like the website Waiteland Family Lineage, this page has the marriage on 12 Oct 1768, the exact same day that they have Jemima Babcock being born, and the day after Stephen Waite's 7th birthday. Clearly preposterous.

If that wasn't enough to catch the eye of a careful proofreader, the only child given (Peleg) is born in 1797, almost 30 years after the marriage. What good planning to get married so young, so they could still be of child-bearing age so many years later! --Jrich 18:10, 25 April 2009 (EDT)
