Jaocobus (in The Bulkeley Genealogy) identifies 3 distinct Robert le Grosvenors whose wives were named Margery (father and son, and uncle of the father). There appears to be sufficient evidence to believe that these men were 3 distinct individuals. It is, of course, possible that some confusion has arisen in determining that all 3 had wives named Margery. If later research shows that this is not the case, the individual records should be corrected. Also, if later research should happen to show that Jacobus misinterpreted his sources and that the "uncle" and "nephew" or "father" and "son" were in fact the same person, they should be unlinked from each other before merging.
