You appear to have chosen Abbotsbury because this was closest to the "Absbury" from the American source. But Abbotsbury is in Dorset, but not Devon.

Doing a "Search" of placenames within WeRelate leads to more possibilities. Try checking for the baptism on FamilySearch or one of the pay sites again. The pay sites particularly publish a great many more possibilities than they did 10-20 years ago (and they are more aware of transcription errors). --Goldenoldie 15:49, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
