Family talk:O'Neill McArthur and Flora McAlpine (1)

Archibald McArthur & parents [7 September 2012]

I notice this tree has an Archibald McArthur, son of Neil McArthur and Flora McAlpine. My wife's family tree (McArthur) has laid claim to the same people :-) We got this info from another site and so far it seems to check out. I wonder how we can substantiate to which family he belongs. The Archibald McArthur in our tree came to Canada and bought the farm which my wife grew up on in Ramsay Twp, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada. I suppose the McArthurs are all eventually related so this discussion could establish further links.
