marriage date [23 July 2013]

This page used to say married 7 Apr 1768 with no source. This is a classic illustration of why giving no sources is harmful to one's data. I removed this date because I cannot find any record of the marriage on that date. The Rutland VRs say intention 2 Apr 1768 but no record of the marriage, and the Gregory Stone Genealogy says the same. No record of the marriage in Hubbardston Vrs. I searched all marriages for anybody named Freelove in 1768 at americanancestors.org and it was not there. Therefore I assume that first, somebody used the intention date as a marriage date (it is not) and second, they copied it wrong changing the 2 into a 7 either by misreading, or sloppy writing, or whatever. My prerogative to make this assumption since no sources were given. --Jrich 11:49, 23 July 2013 (EDT)
