Eliphalet the son? [3 August 2020]

Where else is this son of the second marriage of Moses mentioned? --Jhamstra 20:56, 3 August 2020 (UTC)

Besides his father's will linked to? Apparently nowhere since Source:Noyes, Charles Phelps. Noyes-Gilman Ancestry p. 397 says "as appears from his will". Further inspection of the probate file may contain a document with a reference to Eliphalet having a later date than the will in 1741. The important birth however is Josiah is listed in 1738 according to the Hebron records, who since the will doesn't indicate he is a son of the second wife, suggests the first wife was alive at that time. --Jrich 01:55, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
I have the very same problem. I was hoping you had some other sources that might shed more light, but apparently not? --Jhamstra 04:17, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
Not clear what problem you are referring to - that you don't know what happened to Eliphalet? I wasn't all that interested in Eliphalet, I was interested in the widow of Moses Case and what the proof was for him having two wives named Mary. It is quite possible he is a son of the second wife by an earlier marriage? His legacy of£5 is much smaller then the £600 to be given to the child he is apprehensive his wife is with if that child is a son. I haven't really looked into him. --Jrich 05:15, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
