[add comment] [edit] [21 April 2015]You can find the Lauwerman genealogy online, if not I can surmise it for you, but it goes well back into the 1400s and the Battle of Munster during the Counter Reformation. The earliest Lauwerman was Johann, born around 1465, who was Gau Graf (sheriff?) on the Bakersfeld near Munster, Germany. His son Dietrich Johanns Louwermann was also Gau Graf and fought in the battle to free the city during the rebellion of the Anabaptists. His son Martinus Dietrichs Lauermann, 1530-1587 or thereabouts, to Friesland and was a Lutheran minister. He became minister at the Martinus basilica in Sneek. His son then follows in his fathers footsteps and serves as minister of religion in Bergum St Martens church for 40 years, after having been con rector at Sneek. There is more, this is just to wet your appetite!--henk 16:41, 21 April 2015 (UTC) |
