Family talk:Libeus Forbes and Hannah Warren (1)

census [16 July 2020]

It would be unusual that a person born in Worcester County, married in Worcester County and died in Ohio, all of a sudden moved eastward to Easton. Almost all migration was westward at the time, movement eastward is rare.

The 1800 census does not give much identifying information and this makes it difficult to justify a counter-trend movement. But, the cited census entry does provide enough information to show it does not belong to this person. The only male in the household is over 45 and there are no children. If is probably the "Libeus Fobes" who married in Bridgewater 1775 Mehitable Howard. --Jrich 13:06, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
