Jim, WeRelate has a way to merge duplicate people and families. You can get to the merge screen a couple of ways:

  1. Admin>Compare pages: Put each of the page titles in the boxes and press Compare. The page title is at the top of a person or family page in black - ie Person:Grace Garfield (2)
  2. You can go to one of the pages for Grace and click on More>Find duplicates. Select the checkbox next to the correct duplicate and press Compare.

The first merge screen shows both pages side-by-side to ensure they are really duplicates. The next screen has you select each bit of info that you want to appear in the newly merged page. --Jennifer (JBS66) 15:50, 10 June 2011 (EDT)
