Key documentation [17 October 2018]

While it does not refer to either Jonas or Elizabeth, a key document for reconstructing the children in this family is the Will of James in which he refers directly to his siblings and to several nieces and nephews. Additionally, by some miracle, the probate records directly refer to surviving family members Marvel and William Garrison of Upper Canada, connecting the Canadian and US families fairly well. Marvel was James's brother but William was their nephew, eldest son of their brother William who died about 1795 (my ancestor). Artefacts 22:47, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
