Exeter or Plymouth [14 July 2015]

Both Plymouth and Exeter have large churches or ancient parishes with Charles in their name. In Exeter it is St. Charles, but in Plymouth it is "Charles the Martyr" named after Charles I of England, who was beheaded at the beginning of the English Civil War, but was not a saint. The parish of "Charles the Martyr" eventually was a civil parish covering half the city.--Goldenoldie 14:25, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
