Were they a couple? [1 July 2021]

Was it your intent to show 2 men as a couple? If so, I think I know how to do that without making it look like there were 2 Lloyd's. If not, should the family page be deleted? Let me know. Thanks--DataAnalyst 18:31, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Yes, they were together for decades until John died. They had been staying with my grandmother, John's sister, to look after her. Lloyd moved away a few months later because he thought we didn't like him.  :(--Sezurf 18:35, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

That's sad. Family dynamics can be so complicated and easily misunderstood.

I changed the link so that the relationship looks better, but I see the relationship still doesn't show up correctly on the person page of Lloyd Carter. It didn't before, either. I'm not surprised. It would take a code change to fix that. Maybe someday :) --DataAnalyst 18:50, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

I just discovered that the "fix" I did for the couple is not robust. It was automatically reverted when I changed the pages of Lloyd's parents and the changes were propagated to his page. I fixed it again (from the family page), but it might not stay that way. This will take more changes to the code than I thought.--DataAnalyst 19:06, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
