Where is James Frazier in this listing of children of John Frazier and Isabella Moody? Per Chalkeys, John Frazier, husband of Isabella Moody, died young and left widow Isabella and five young children. Subsequent court records show these children as: Samuel, James, John, Ann and Isabella.

Let's see if we can place the correct children of this couple. I've removed William, Joseph and George from this family, per your records. I also have attached the James Frazier that I believe that belongs to this family, who received land from his brother, Samuel. I'll check my files and records on Molly, and see what I have on her.

Molly is the daughter of the other John, who was married to Molly Shanklin Galloway. I can't find documentation, but my information, correct or not, is that Molly's father's name was Shankin, from Pa. Her mother remarried a Galloway. This John died earlier than John & Isabella Mooody Frazier's John, and lived in another county. However, I do believe they are cousins.

The John of John &Isabella did have a William in their family somewhere, because every subsequent generation named a son William. It could be William was John's grandfather, father or brother. The Joseph and Eleanor Ewing Frazier fits with subsequent names. Girls were named Elenora in subsequent generations.--Csb5100 14:11, 23 March 2010 (EDT)

I believe this family is now correct. I've replaced John Frazier with the correct one, who ties in. Also, I've added Isabella, but with an approximate birthdate, unless you have a better date range. I don't have any information on her or who she married.
