Which Mary Warner? [13 November 2014]

Jacobus, in Families of Ancient New Haven, 8:1885, says that Isaac Tuttle married, as his second wife, Mary, daughter of Daniel & Joanna (Richardson) Warner (b. 1712). Cothren, in History of Ancient Woodbury, 1:752, and James Pierce Root, in Root Genealogical Records, have him marrying Mary, daughter of Robert and Mary (Root) Warner (b. 1707). Given the relative reputations of the writers, I am reasonably sure that Jacobus has it right. A check of the probate records of the two putative fathers might resolve the question.--jaques1724 04:54, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
